Article 2: Retrieving personal data
Sollas Holland B.V. could have received your personal data in several different ways, for example:
Visit to an exhibition
Visit and/or contact from one of our sales people and/or agents/distributors
You have requested contact/information via our website
You have requested to be contacted by telephone and/or mail
Article 3: Collected data
Sollas Holland B.V. only collects business related contact information. The following data could be collected:
Name of the contact person
Work related phone numbers, land lines and/or mobile
Work fax number
Work e-mail address
Article 4: Reasons for collecting data
To inform our contacts with relevant information, such as, industry specific trade-shows and/or developments related to packaging machinery, parts and/or services provided by Sollas Holland B.V.
To ensure that we are able to correctly offer and potentially complete a sales contract for packaging machines, parts and/or services from Sollas Holland B.V.
To enable us to process customer data correctly in such away as is required by law and for example that our invoices comply with legal standards and obligations.
Article 5: Third Parties
For the activities as mentioned under article 4, it could be necessary for Sollas Holland B.V. to share (some) of the collected data with third parties, for example:
Sollas branch offices or agents/distributors who are working in the country of origin from the person of whom the contact data is collected.
Mainly government agencies who are requesting for additional information or who will need to receive information that is required to fulfil the contractual obligations to our customer. For example, Chambers of Commerce and similar agencies.
Shipping and transport companies who will be engaged in transporting the machines or goods to our customers.
Furthermore, Sollas Holland B.V. maybe obligated to share information to authorities in case of any violation with the law.
Article 6: Your rights in relationship to your data
Based on the articles 15, 16, 20 and 21 of the GDPR, everyone has the right to see, correct or ask for their personal data to be erased, or ask for limitations on their processed data. Each request needs to come with a copy of a valid ID, needs to contain your signature, and furthermore, it needs to contain your contact details.
You will receive an answer within 1 month of your request. Depending of the complexity of your request and the number of requests, this deadline can be extended by an additional 2 months.
Please note: if limitations are placed on the processed data or if it is to be erased, this could have an adverse effect on the quality of the information/service we could provide you with (Article 4.).
Article 7: Time of storage
In principle, Sollas Holland B.V. will save your contact details for the complete period of our business relationship. This information could be used to make our first initial contact right up to completing a contract (see article 4). This could mean that Sollas Holland B.V. might collect and store your data for some considerable time.
Furthermore, Sollas Holland B.V. is obliged by law to store certain documentation, for instance, invoices, for a certain time.
Article 8: Applicable law
Dutch law is applicable on these conditions. The Court that is responsible for the town of settlement of Sollas Holland B.V. will be used in case of any dispute about these conditions, except when there is an exception by law.
